Return Of The Funkateer

This terrific longplayer is presented as the soundtrack to a forthcoming animated feature 'Return Of The Funkateer'. Featuring an awesome combination of deliciously funky and superbly crafted tracks. Some of the gems featured have never been released before including hard hitting instrumentals from Push, Capri, The Future Shock and the New Jersey Queens, through to the P-Funk flavours of Mania 7 to an historic recording by Paul Jackson (legendary Bass Player with the Headhunters) and East Bay Rhythm. There is much here for the Funk aficionado to savour, listen out for guest appearances from Pee Wee Ellis, Bill Summers and Jorge Santana.

This compilation is available as a vinyl LP as well as a CD but Capri's track "Car Chase on Phoenix Avenue" appears only on the CD version as a bonus track.
