United Sounds of The HiFi Club" - Live At The HiFi Club CD features live performances from 11 of the finest bands that Leeds and the surrounding region has to offer.

"Since opening in October 2000, The HiFi Club in Leeds has quickly established a regional and national reputation for some of the hottest club and live music nights around. Concentrating on the soul, jazz and funk scene, the recordings featured here were made at our premier live music sessions, Thursday night's Harlem Bush Club and The Sunday Joint, with an appearance from one of our monthly funk showcase gigs at Friday's FunkSoulNation."

The tracks featured here showcase the entire range of musical styles to be found at the club, from extremely danceable breaks-influenced horn-led funk (Haggis Horns, New Mastersounds, Capri) to soulful R&B (Deep Soul Collective), blues (James O'Hara), Hip Hop (Homecut Directive), Latin jazz-funk (Mambito), soul-jazz and soul-blues (Chunky But Funky, Pocket Central), and sublime female vocal jazz (Kelly Dickson, Sugarbrew).

Capri appear on the first track of this compilation performing a previously unreleased track "Heat Stroke".
